Apple Building More iPhones?

10:00 AM -- Inflection Point Research -- the analyst house that caused AAPL shares to drop a bit in late July after they cut iPhone build estimates -- is now raising its forecast for the number of devices to be built by the Mac mavens in the fourth quarter this year.

Following the phone's launch in the U.K. this week, IPR is to update its estimates for iPhone builds from 3.6 million to 4.8 million for the full year 2007 because of higher demand for the devices. (See iPhone Invades UK.)

The Apple bandwagon rolls on regardless. A German launch is rumored before the end of the week.
