1:20 PM -- I voted this morning and I met one of my neighbors, an election volunteer that I haven't had a chance to speak with before. It turns out we have very little in common politically, but an awful lot in common regarding how to improve the neighborhood.
As President Bush would say, we're both working hard to put food on our families. And, in spite of our political leanings, we both agree that war is a dangerous place. That's important.
So get out and vote and get to know your neighbors. Don't misunderestimate your vote's importance.
