Who Has Done the Ice Bucket Challenge?

The "Ice Bucket Challenge" craze has been sweeping social media for the past few weeks, raising awareness of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) -- also known as motor neurone disease (MND) -- and raising money for associated charities.

But who in the telecom sector has stepped up?

Ericsson AB (Nasdaq: ERIC) CEO Hans Vestberg has…

But Hans is just one man with one bucket. What about 1,200 buckets, like they managed at corporate communications services specialist Granite Telecommunications LLC ? Once they get there, it's quite the spectacle…

And, for my sins, I was pressed into action.

So who else has soaked themselves? Let us know, or if it was you, upload your video in the message boards below as a video message.

Does that count? I did not take the ice bucket challenge but I've consumed quite a bit of iced tea. Does that count?

Re: Ice Bucket Challenge Sprint's new CEO, Marcelo Claure, did it along with several other top execs, on August 18, in front of several thousand Sprint employeess (live and by webcast), just 1 week after taking office. And now Masa Son, CEO of Softbank, has also done the challenge and is pushing to spread it throughout Japan.

Re: Light Reading Team Challenge I don't know about that, Gareth... Not everybody should do the Ice Bucket Challenge.

Light Reading Team Challenge Sterling work, Ray. Shouldn't there be some form of interactive poll where readers can nominate the next Light Reading team member to participate in the challenge? I know it's not in keeping with the rules, but you guys are rule breakers.
