An Open (Video Streaming) Relationship

  • Microsoft has altered the language it uses to describe its video streaming partnership with Netflix, removing any mention of exclusivity. Many have speculated that Netflix will also partner with Nintendo, to make its streaming video available on the Wii.

  • YES Network has struck a deal with Verizon to offer its subscribers a broadband package that allows them to watch New York Yankees games on a computer, similar to the deal YES struck with Cablevision two months ago.

And in today's News Bits, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone says last week's denial-of-service attack is a sign of its mounting popularity.
