Alcatel-Lucent highlights wireless broadband at ITU Telecom Africa 2008

CAIRO, Egypt -- Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) will showcase its leadership in the network evolution to mass broadband and feature the full breadth of its end-to-end solutions to support fixed and wireless broadband multimedia services at the upcoming ITU Telecom Africa 2008, taking place in Cairo, Egypt, from May 12th to 15th.

As service providers gather for the major networking event for information and communication technology (ICT) players across the African region, visitors to the Alcatel-Lucent booth (booth C95 in Hall 2) will be able to view demonstrations of innovative solutions, software and services developed to enrich the broadband end-user experience and to help transform telecommunications.
