SAN DIEGO -- AirFiber, Inc., a developer of wireless optical networking equipment, today announced the addition of Ali Hedayati as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Michael Sabo as Senior Vice President of Marketing and named Àine Shivnan as Vice President of Engineering, Platform Architecture. “We’re thrilled to have been able to add such talent to our core executive team,” said Jim Dunn, CEO of AirFiber. “Ali, Michael and Àine will play a crucial role in the development and marketing of OptiMesh(tm) and other wireless optical networking products.”Hedayati will oversee all of the definition and development of current and future AirFiber products. He joins AirFiber following 19 years with Intel Corporation, where he held management positions in the Network Equipment Division. Sabo will oversee the direction of AirFiber’s marketing strategy and help determine future product offerings. Sabo joins from Rhythms NetConnections, where he was responsible for creating advanced broadband data services and forming business partnerships to bring those solutions to the marketplace. Shivnan, a co-founder of AirFiber, has been promoted to oversee the design execution of OptiMesh and also the development of future products. AirFiber Inc.
