SAN FRANCISCO -- A venture backed startup, AiDi Corporation USA, has advanced current Passive Optical Networking (PON) technology with its low loss 1x64 PLC Splitter. AiDi confirms that unique, rapid development creates opportunities and higher standards in this industry.

Renewed interest in PON innovation is being sparked by the deployment of higher-bandwidth fiber to the home (FTTH) that enables triple-play services. AiDi?s 1x64 PLC Splitter is the first of the kind to be introduced in the global market. The groundbreaking advance was accomplished in only a few months and has already been shown to exceed Telcordia standards and other industry benchmarks.

"We believe next generation FTTH networks will require 1x64 PLC Splitters and more innovations like this, purely based on improved economics of deployment and maintenance," says Kenzo Ishida, President and CEO of AiDi Corporation.
