Light Reading is to run a series of written, pictorial and video features focused on the topic of telco big data and analytics during January 2014 in the first of a series of hot topic focus months that will set the editorial calendar for the year ahead.

Each month, Light Reading, in addition to its regular reporting on all that's hot in the communications sector, will focus its attention on a particular topic that will generate a number of special features, including video blogs, service provider and analyst interviews, reader polls, slideshows, a live message board chat, and more.

The aim of these hot topics focus months is to draw attention to different aspects of technology or services trends that are affecting network operators globally in 2014 and beyond.
