DUBAI, United Arab Emirates -- AIRCOM International, the leading independentprovider of end-to-end network optimisation solutions for IP andcellular networks, today launches the ENTERPRISE 6.0 network engineeringsuite for complete network performance. ENTERPRISE 6.0 has the potentialto accelerate the roll-out and integration of WiMAX networks, withenhancements to its fixed WiMAX tools and the addition of new mobileWiMAX planning capabilities. ENTERPRISE 6.0 enables operators to managethe range of network technologies - WiMAX, HSDPA, 3G, GPRS and 2G - fromone platform using a single-source database, GIS and data managementsystem.
AIRCOM introduced its first ENTERPRISE tool to the market in 1997.Today, more than half of the world's network operators rely onENTERPRISE tools for their network planning, management and optimisationtasks.
Operators can take advantage of the modular mix-and-match design ofENTERPRISE 6.0 to maximise their investment by selecting thecapabilities that precisely meet individual business requirements. Thismeans operators only pay for what they need, rather than bearing thecost of features and services superfluous to their needs.
"Operators have always had to deal with evolving network technologies, but the situation they face today could hardly be more complex. Thearray of technologies and the changing demands of subscribers make itessential for operators to redouble their focus on planning thedevelopment of their core asset - their network," said MargaretRice-Jones, CEO, AIRCOM International.
"Every operator around the world has different technology and servicerequirements. We have designed ENTERPRISE 6.0 to be as flexible astoday's market dictates, both in terms of implementation and pricing,"Rice-Jones continued.
