Adlink releases its ATCA-6890 processor blade

IRVINE, Calif. -- ADLINK Technology Inc., a leading provider of Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture (AdvancedTCA) products, is introducing a new advanced telecom platform building block, the ATCA-6890 processor blade. The ATCA-6890 is available in a dual processor configuration with the Low Voltage Intel® Xeon® processor 2.8 GHz with 800MHz System Bus, or a single processor configuration with the Intel® Xeon® processor 3.2 GHz with 800MHz System Bus. The ATCA-6890 also features the Intel® E7520 chipset and supports up to 16GB DDR2-400 memory.

The ATCA-6890 AdvancedTCA processor blade is intended for use in AdvancedTCA compliant platforms. Peripherals include six Gigabit Ethernet ports, one 10/100/1000Mbit Ethernet maintenance port, four USB 2.0 ports, two PMC sites, video (analog and flat panel), two parallel ATA ports, two Serial ATA ports, and two serial ports. Keyboard, mouse and printer functions are supported with USB, and a legacy PS/2 type connector is reserved on the Rear Transition Module (RTM).
