Leading industry figure, Trevor Brignall, appointed Practice Head for Arthur D. Little

LONDON -- Arthur D. Little (ADL), the UK’s leading management consulting firm for technology-intensive sectors, announces the appointment of Trevor Brignall to Head of ADL’s Telecommunications, Information, Media and Electronics (TIME) Practice in the UK & Ireland.

Trevor comes to ADL with over 20 years experience. He has held senior management positions at BT, Unitel and ntl prior to becoming a Partner in leading consulting firms and was latterly responsible for Telecommunications and Media consulting business development at Capgemini.

In his role as consultant to National and European regulators, as well as to international operators, Trevor Brignall has played a major part in reviewing many current broadcasting and telecommunications issues, including digital terrestrial television and the competitive threat for premium subscription services; mergers and acquisitions in the Cable TV market; business strategies for mobile communications operators and extensive strategic input for fixed line operators.

The UK TIME Practice is part of ADL’s 250-strong Global TIME Practice network. Trevor’s London-based team is focusing especially on helping companies realise the value opportunities presented by new broadband technologies and building on their successes in supporting multi-billion pound telecoms and media-related transactions.

Trevor Brignall said, “My particular mix of experience, both in management consultancy and as a senior executive in major telecommunications and cable companies, combined with an intimate knowledge of the role and operations of industry regulators, puts me in an ideal position to maximise opportunities for the TIME Practice.”

Trevor holds an MBA, an MA in Management Practice and is a Chartered Marketer.
