Larry Barker, president of ADC's Software Systems Business Unit, will leave the company May 2 to pursue a CEO opportunity elsewhere

MINNEAPOLIS -- ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT; www.adc.com) today announced that Larry Barker, president of ADC's Software Systems Business Unit, will leave the company effective May 2, to pursue a CEO opportunity with another company. Barker has been with ADC since 1999 after ADC acquired Saville Systems, a developer of billing and customer care software solutions for communications networks. "Larry has been a fine leader for ADC and has grown our software portfolio and market presence extensively since joining ADC in 1999," said Rick Roscitt, chairman and CEO of ADC. "We wish him the best in his new role as a CEO." "Our recent success in winning software business stems from our focused approach on wireless, Tier 1 and Tier 2 telecommunications providers and enterprise customers and positions ADC to further grow this business as we bring on a new leader," added Roscitt.
