ADC announces the three-year extension of an agreement to supply connectivity equipment to SBC Services

MINNEAPOLIS -- ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT, www.adc.com) today announced the three-year extension of an agreement to supply connectivity equipment to SBC Services, Inc., an SBC Communications Inc. (NYSE:SBC) company. The new extension provides for multi-millions of dollars in purchases and makes ADC a preferred supplier of connectivity products to SBC. "ADC values our long-standing relationship with SBC and we're pleased to provide this leading data, voice and Internet service provider with our world-class connectivity equipment," said Rick Roscitt, chairman and CEO of ADC. "We will continue to lend our expertise in delivering the right equipment designed for next generation services that SBC business and residential customers demand." The agreement calls for ADC to supply copper and fiber connectivity products including digital signal cross connect (DSX) systems, fiber optic panels and frames, and FiberGuide(R) fiber optic cable raceway systems.
