ADC names Philip Styrlund VP of global channel sales; channels to receive new focus in Europe, Middle East, and Africa

MINNEAPOLIS -- ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT; www.adc.com) a leading global supplier of fiber optics, network equipment, software and integration services for broadband, multi-service networks, today announced the selection of Philip Styrlund as Vice President of Global Channel Sales. Styrlund will lead all channel sales strategies for the company, including channel development in North America, Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA), Asia Pacific, and Latin America. "ADC is renewing its commitment to channel sales and we're thrilled to have Phil to lead our efforts in this vital area," said Rick Roscitt, ADC's chairman and CEO. "His expertise as a sales leader will continue to benefit ADC. As he initiates the channel program in Europe, our support of a clear channel strategy designed to benefit both our new channel partners and ADC will help define the future of this company." Styrlund joined ADC in 1996 as regional vice president of sales. Prior to ADC, Styrlund served as director of strategic accounts at US WEST in Minneapolis. In addition, he worked in a variety of sales, marketing, operations, and technical management roles during his 17-year career at US WEST. ADC Telecommunications Inc.
