Chairman and CEO file their sworn statements with the SEC attesting to the accuracy of ADC's most recent financial reports

MINNEAPOLIS -- ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT, www.adc.com) today announced that Rick Roscitt, ADC's chairman and CEO, and Robert Switz, ADC's CFO, filed their sworn statements with the SEC attesting to the accuracy of ADC's most recent financial reports. The statements can be accessed at www.sec.gov/rules/extra/ceocfo.htm. Due to ADC's fiscal year reporting schedule (November 1 - October 31), ADC was required to file its sworn statements to the SEC on or before September 16, 2002, and was not required to do so under the August 14 deadline applicable to calendar-year companies. The following ADC reports, which were required by the SEC order, were certified as to their accuracy. --Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended October 31, 2001;
--Definitive Proxy Statement for the 2002 Annual Meeting;
--Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended January 31, 2002;
--Current Report on Form 8-K filed May 1, 2002;
--Current Report on Form 8-K filed May 22, 2002;
--Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended April 30, 2002; and
