ADC names Hubert Schanne VP of Europe, Middle East and Africa sales and managing director of Europe

MINNEAPOLIS & LONDON -- ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT; www.adc.com) today announced the appointment of Hubert Schanne as Vice President-Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Sales and Managing Director of Europe. Schanne will have overall responsibility for driving ADC's sales, business development and channel activities throughout EMEA, reporting to Lyle Chalupsky, Vice President of Global Sales. Schanne joins ADC after 13 years with Nortel Networks where he served in a variety of leadership positions including sales, business development, product management and customer service. His most recent position was Vice President, Central and Eastern Europe, during which time he and his team secured several significant carrier and enterprise contracts that extended and grew Nortel Networks' presence in the region. "Europe is an extremely important market for us, and we're delighted to have someone of Hubert's caliber join ADC at this time," said Rick Roscitt, chairman and CEO of ADC.
