Has signed a contract with Mississippi-based Telepak Networks to provide dark fiber in Mississippi and Louisiana

HERNDON, Va. -- ACSI Network Technologies, Inc. ("ACSI NT"), a subsidiary of e.spire(R) Communications, Inc. (OTC Pinksheets: ESPIQ) and a leading provider of metropolitan area optical fiber networks and strategic network design services, has signed a contract with Mississippi-based Telepak Networks, Inc. to provide dark fiber in Mississippi and Louisiana. Under terms of the agreement, ACSI NT will provide Telepak Networks with a total of 35 miles of dark fiber along sections of its network in Jackson, MS and Baton Rouge and New Orleans, LA for an undisclosed amount. Telepak Networks is an integrated broadband service provider specializing in data networking and telecommunications service solutions for businesses, communications carriers, and consumers throughout Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana. "When we were interviewing potential vendors, we were impressed by ACSI NT's proven experience and reputation for delivering reliable network infrastructure and services," said Gregg Logan, Vice President of Telepak Networks. "This is a good arrangement for us, because, by purchasing network from ACSI NT, we can continue to provide services that meet our customers' expanding requirements without incurring the capital expense of building networks or waiting for them to be built."
