Acopia Networks names Mark Terenzoni as vice president of manufacturing

CHELMSFORD, Mass. -- Acopia Networks, the venture-funded startup delivering next generation web services infrastructure, announced today the appointment of Mark Terenzoni to the position of Vice President of Manufacturing. In this role, Mr. Terenzoni will develop a world-class virtual manufacturing model for Acopia's first-in-class solutions. Mark is a start-up veteran, having held executive positions at several area start-ups. Most notably, he was Vice President of Manufacturing for NetCore Systems, which was acquired by Tellabs. While at NetCore, he established NetCore's virtual manufacturing model, which included supply chain management, manufacturing engineering and new product introduction. Before NetCore, he led a large multinational manufacturing operation for Shiva Corporation, where he was responsible for managing the growth of manufacturing operations from zero to $200M annually. Previously, Mark held senior-level positions at Sun Microsystems and Kodak.
