WUHAN, China -- Accelink held its first general shareholder meeting a day ago; it means the accomplishment of Joint-Ownership reform. Former Accelink Technologies Corp Ltd now changes to Accelink Technologies Incorporation. The rebuilt incorporation has 5 shareholders; the state-owned asset Administration Committee holds 65% of the shares. Other shareholders include three domestic investors: Zhongtian Captial, Changyuanyingjia Captial and Xiandai Captial; An International investor from California, USA involved in the incorporation too. The incorporation has been approved by State-owned Assets Administration Committee and Commerce Ministry of the State Council. The accomplishment of the incorporation cleared the way for Accelink share marketing. Accelink may become the first IPO company of optical-communication component industry in China mainland. Accelink grows out of former Passive Device Division of WRI (Wuhan Research Institute of the Ministry Post and Telecommunication). Having been endeavored in R&D of active and passive components for fiber optical communications for nearly 30 years. Accelink has accumulated many technologies and abundant experiences; it is prestigious in the optical-communication component industry in China and accumulating reputation worldwide.

Accelink is a company currently concentrating on optical active and passive components for optical communications such as filters (Thin Film Filter and Arrayed Waveguide Grating), switches, connectors, VOA, isolators, circulators, fiber gratings, couplers(fiber fused and PLC based), interleavers; and sub-systems such as Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifiers, Optical Add-Drop Modules, Optical Power Monitors, Dynamic Gain Equalizer, Optical Transceiver Modules; in addition, the instrument series for fiber optical communications. Accelink can supplies such complete series products for optical communications that no other companies in China mainland can be comparing. Products of Accelink have been sold all around the world, including Europe, America and Japan. Export revenue in 2003 was exceeded 8 millions US$. Accelink always makes great effort on the quality system. Early in 1998, Accelink was certificated ISO9001 quality system, and in 2001 transformed it into new version of ISO9001:2000. In the beginning of 2004, Accelink aimed to build an integrated system, which includes the ISO9001:2000 quality system, TL9000 quality managing system for telecommunications industry, ISO14000 environmental management system and OHSAS18000 occupational health and safety management system. There are about 750 employees currently work for the Incorporation, including nearly 300 engineers. With a special emphasis on innovation, Accelink is a front runner on the R&D of advanced optical components and the application. For example, Accelink has proposed innovative solutions on currently hotspot: ROADM and FTTx; Accelink is also running research programs on the next generation optical material and components, such as photonic crystal, nano optics etc. Accelink has 37 granted patents and another 45 pending patents, including several international patents.
