11:30 AM -- Bidders are maintaining a steady pace on the fourth day of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) 's 700 MHz wireless broadband auctions.

The grand total of provisional winning bids for round nine is now up to $6.5 billion, a growth of $422 million, or 6.91 percent, on the last round. Bidders have been adding around $400 million to the total bids per round over the last day.

The most-fancied spectrum block, the 50-state, eight-license C band offering, is now hovering around $3 billion and should break that in the next round today.
