PRAGUE, Czech Republic -- U-Turn Media Group, provider of innovative on device portal technology, will be present at 3GSM in Barcelona from the 12th – 15th of February.

Among the company’s range of solutions, U-Turn will be showcasing new on device portals currently being deployed by two leading companies: T- Mobile and Grupo ADI.

U-Turn has further strengthened its business relationship with T-Mobile to enhance the t-music videozona portal by offering users a host of new features. The videozona portal was deployed using U-Turn technology at the end of 2005, since then over 45,000 video streams of top 100 music clips have been viewed through the portal. Features include:

  • Greater cross selling functionality – consumers can preview and then buy various types of multimedia content and value added services through a single music artist’s page - minimising the number of clicks to preview and purchase videos and ringtones

  • Live TV streaming – consumers can now watch live terrestrial TV through the videozona portal. Streaming is provided in crystal clear quality and is launched with just one click

  • Customer feedback – users can send through their comments via SMS or email directly from within the portal

  • T-Mobile bulletin – in this section T-Mobile will post information about their current promotions and special offers on voice and data plans

In addition, U-Turn has formed a partnership with Grupo ADI, a large content production house in Spain, to create interactive mobile tourist guides. The guides will utilise U-Turn’s on device portal technology. The first mobile guide of Barcelona will be available at the 3GSM event and will include interactive maps, video and audio commentary as well as text descriptions of the top tourist sites throughout Barcelona.
