The initial offering addresses metro dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) optical systems and will grow to higher channel counts to address market needs. The components include a fully integrated eight-channel configurable optical add/drop multiplexer (COADM8) and an eight-channel variable optical attenuator multiplexer/demultiplexer (VMUX8).
