5:45 PM -- As the editor of a mobile news site, I get to see a lot of the more bizarre applications of wireless technology out there. I thought I'd share some of the more esoteric offerings with you, oh lucky reader, as part of an occasional series called -- cue fanfare! -- Weird Wireless Stuff.

Full disclosure: I have absolutely no idea how this works on a technical level, and I question the rationale of making a product that looks like a mood ring... but hey, that's just me.
