Service provider data centers are being squeezed from two sides. They face business pressures to keep up with increasing customer demands for more personal, more visual, more interactive services across the globe. They also face operational pressures, including high energy costs, low resource utilization, increasing service provisioning complexity, and decreasing labor productivity, that are challenging the economics of service delivery.
