Overview:
Telecom service providers are under increasing competitive pressure. They must find new ways to provide relevant services to protect and expand their customer base, while also delivering incremental revenue streams. Upgrading an existing infrastructure to incorporate an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) opens the door to unlimited service opportunities. At the core of the IMS are network equipment elements based on the Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture (ATCA) standard.
