Overview:
With the convergence of voice, video, and data services over a single IP network infrastructure, equipment manufacturers and service providers must contend with new challenges, as the services compete with each other for finite bandwidth and resources within the network. Each multiplay service has distinct quality of service (QOS) and quality of experience (QOE) requirements, leading to different metrics for evaluating service quality. Furthermore, different types of measurements are appropriate at different points in the deployment lifecycle: pre-deployment lab testing, monitoring and troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance. This Webinar will give technical details on some of the metrics that can be used for different services at various points in the lifecycle. A case study will be presented to illustrate recommended testing methodologies and example results.
