Viva Picks Comverse ONE

February 28, 2013 |
WAKEFIELD, Mass. -- Dominican Republic operator Trilogy Dominicana (Viva), a subsidiary of Trilogy International Partners, has implemented the Comverse ONE(R) Billing & Active Customer Management(TM) solution for Real-Time Billing, Comverse (Nasdaq:CNSI) announced today.

Comverse ONE's unified view of subscriber account information and real-time authorization, rating, charging and balance management for voice, data and other value-added services positions Viva to enhance its market offerings, improve the user experience, and achieve significant OPEX reduction.

"As a long-standing Comverse Real-Time Billing customer, we chose to implement the Comverse ONE solution for its proven real-time capabilities. Since going live, Viva Dominicana has benefited from harnessing real-time marketing capabilities across our multi-service portfolio, enhanced data support to better monetize our data services, and leveraged capabilities to simplify and accelerate new offer introduction," said Mario Campos, Vice President at Viva. "We are enhancing the user experience by introducing targeted/personalized services, offers and promotions. Moreover, by leveraging the solution's roaming and calling card capabilities, we are responding quickly to opportunities created by the large numbers of tourists visiting our country."
