Visible Measures Gets MySpace Deal

  • Video measurement firm Visible Measures has signed a deal with MySpace to become "the online video measurement platform of record" for the social-networking site. "What we're doing for MySpace is directly measuring every view of every video by every user, and every action inside of that," says Visible Measures vice president of marketing and analytics Matt Cutler.

  • Nokeena Networks emerges from stealth mode with its Media Flow Director, a software appliance that is designed to serve up video at massive scale from any off-the-shelf x86-based machine.

  • New online transcoding player HD Cloud has launched a software-as-a-service platform for transcoding video files into multiple file sizes and file types.
