WaveBroadband Adds Cable Vets

November 09, 2012 |

KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Steve Weed, Chief Executive Officer of WaveDivision Holdings LLC, announced today the addition of three executives to the Wave leadership team, as well as strategic changes in current executive roles, to position the company for continued expansion. Wave, a fast-growing provider of advanced cable TV, true high-speed Internet and Phone services, serving residential and business customers in major West Coast markets, acquired the Northwest assets of Broadstripe earlier this year, and recently announced an agreement to acquire Seattle area fiber carrier, Black Rock Cable.

Steve Friedman, Wave's current Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to the position of President and COO. With more than 28 years of experience owning and operating cable systems, Friedman joined Weed as an investment partner at Wave in 2003 – "the Steve's" have been running the company together for 9 years. Weed stated, "This promotion speaks to Steve's tremendous contribution to Wave's successes to-date, and his ability to play a key role in leading our future growth."

Wave's current Chief Marketing Officer, Arah Peck, will become EVP of Strategic Development. Arah will concentrate more exclusively on key customer support initiatives to ensure Wave continues its legacy as a customer-centric organization. Weed added, "Driven by its number one priority, the customer, Wave will need this on-going focus in our future growth, and Arah is the perfect person to lead and maintain that integrity for us."
