Veraz has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the proposed IPO of its common stock

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Veraz Networks, Inc., a provider of voice over IP (VoIP) softswitches, media gateways and digital compression products to wireline and wireless service providers, announced today that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The shares of common stock to be sold in the offering are expected to be offered by Veraz Networks, Inc and a selling stockholder.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Lehman Brothers Inc. will be acting as joint book-running managers of the proposed offering. Jefferies & Company, Inc. and Raymond James & Associates, Inc. are also acting as underwriters for the proposed offering. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined.
