Orange Launches 4G in Paris

PARIS -- Backed by France’s broadest 4G coverage, Orange announces the opening of 4G today in the Paris Opera neighbourhood and in 15 other cities in the month of April Orange is the first operator to deploy 4G in the Paris Opera area, the first stage to coverage of the entire city of Paris by the end of 2013.

After opening the 4G network to Marseille in June 2012 followed by Lyon, Nantes and Lille in November 2012, Orange will bring 4G to Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Chartres, Orleans, Dunkirk, Nancy, Metz, Clermont-Ferrand, Grenoble and Annecy starting 4 April 2013.

Customers of the 4G Special Edition for tablet and dongle, available on the business market since November 2012, will thus be able to use them in Paris as well.
