UBM TechWeb: Vision Award Winners Announced

LAS VEGAS -- TelcoTV, the largest conference and expo focused on the U.S. broadband service provider market, today revealed the winners of the fifth annual TelcoTV Vision Awards. Winners were announced during keynote sessions at the eleventh annual TelcoTV Conference being held this week at the Las Vegas Hotel, Nevada. The TelcoTV Vision Awards recognize companies that are leaders in driving innovation in the broadband service provider industry. The awards program includes a wide range of categories and was open to all members of the industry's ecosystem. All submissions were reviewed by an independent panel of distinguished judges, comprised of the industry's leading analysts and executives.

"The response to the TelcoTV Vision Awards has once again been impressive," says Carolyn Herr, Show Director, TelcoTV. The prestigious awards program is now in its fifth year. The winners of the ten TelcoTV Vision Awards categories are:

  • Best Innovation in Customer Premises Equipment: SeaChange International, Inc., SeaChange Nuleus Soft Box Gateway
  • Best Innovation in Digital Rights Management and Conditional Access Systems: Motorola Mobility, Inc., Motorola Medios: SecureMedia® Encryptonite ONEâ„¢ HLS+
  • Best Innovation in Middleware: Minerva Networks, Inc., iTVFusion 5.4
  • Best Innovation in Video Processing: Envivio, Inc., Muse Live on HP Blade Servers
  • Independent Service Provider's Innovation Award: Toledo Telephone, OTT Video
  • Service Provider's Innovation Award: AT&T Corporation, AT&T U-verse Wireless Receiver

The special TelcoTV Best in Show Award, which was voted on by conference attendees, was given to RGB Networks.
