“For the past several years, we’ve been evolving the organizational structure of the Company to reflect changes in the composition of our business, in the competitive environment and in our customers’ expectations,” said Glenn Britt, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Today we are announcing the final step in our evolution from decentralized, geographic operating units to a more centralized structure with standardized operations.”
Going forward, Time Warner Cable’s management structure will no longer be defined by geographic regions; instead, the company will be organized by reference to the customer served (residential, business or media clients) and the functions necessary to serve those customers.
