Don't fret if you missed something. In this special feature, we look back at a selection of new telecom products and services announced during, or for, The Cable Show 2010 held on May 11-13 in Los Angeles. Products are classified for easy reference by the following very broad terms:
- Carrier Transport – includes optical networking, ROADMs, Ethernet, wireless backhaul, and packet optical
- Fixed Access – includes DSL, GPON, WDM-PON, and CPE
- IP Applications – includes VoIP and IMS, and CPE/user-type software and applications
- Telecom Software – includes OSS, BSS, SDPs, and policy control
- Video Infrastructure – includes cable technology, IPTV, and home networking.
