MELBOURNE, Australia -- Australian organisations can more easily design, deploy and manage wireless machine-to-machine – or M2M – services using a new web-based self-service platform.

Known as the Telstra Wireless M2M Control Centre, the platform is a significant step forward in providing business, enterprise and government organisations with a powerful solution to self-manage a range of M2M-based products that will use the Next G network for wireless internet connectivity.

Telstra has entered into an exclusive, multi-year agreement with M2M technology provider Jasper Wireless to power the Telstra Wireless M2M Control Centre.

John Paitaridis, Executive Director of Telstra Enterprise & Government said the M2M service will give customers more flexibility and control to quickly activate, deploy and manage their M2M services.

"The launch of the Telstra Wireless M2M Control Centre allows our approved business, enterprise and government customers to increase their productivity by connecting and administering M2M services themselves at their organisation via a powerful yet easy to use web-based tool."
