AMSTERDAM -- TeliaSonera International Carrier (TSIC) and iBasis, a KPN company, today announced an LTE Roaming peering agreement that will ensure interoperability and a consistent user experience for roaming LTE subscribers. The companies will interconnect their Diameter signaling and data hubs to enable LTE Roaming. They will also migrate all legacy services to the new IPX interconnect to provide GSMA-standard IPX features such as end-to-end Quality of Service, Security, Multilateral Connectivity and Cascading Payments. TeliaSonera was the first to introduce LTE roaming in February 2013 and its TSIC division launched the 200+ point of presence TeliaSonera IPX network in May. The TeliaSonera IPX network is built upon TSICs wholly-owned and fully redundant optical network, recently 100G-enabled. TeliaSonera International Carrier (TIC)
