TelcoTV a Success

November 01, 2012 |

SAN FRANCISCO -- TelcoVision (formerly TelcoTV), the industry's largest conference and expo focused on Tier 2 to Tier 4 broadband network service providers, today announced that its 2012 event was an outstanding success with over 20,000 square feet of sold exhibit space housing 105 companies.

The number of non-exhibitors in attendance jumped by almost 20% in 2012 and more than 40% of those in attendance at this year's event, which took place last week at the Last Vegas Hotel in Nevada, described themselves as service providers or operators. The comprehensive conference lineup also featured 20 speakers from the service provider/operator community sharing their insights and actionable strategies for generating revenue in the face of growing competition and decreased government support.

"To say we are pleased with the success of this year's conference and expo would be an understatement," said Carol Wilson, Program Chairwoman, TelcoVision. "Once again, this year's event was the place to be for Tier 2, 3 and 4 operators who are exploring new revenue opportunities by incorporating new applications, monetizing OTT video, uncovering leading-edge video technologies and playing a significant role in the future of broadband in the U.S."
