TelcoTV 2010 Announces Vision Award Finalists

IRVINE, Calif. -- TelcoTV 2010, the largest video conference and expo focused on the U.S. service provider market, today revealed the finalists for the third annual TelcoTV Vision Awards. The award winners will be announced before an audience of ecosystem partners, service providers, analysts, and technology and business press at TelcoTV 2010 on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at 12:30 p.m. in room Titian 2304 at the Venetian in Las Vegas. The ceremony is preceded by a follow-up study presentation on pay-TV services by Adi Kishore, Senior Analyst at Heavy Reading, that begins at noon in the same room.

Finalists in each category have demonstrated outstanding leadership and innovation in eight unique categories: Broadband Access Networks, Conditional Access, Customer Premises Equipment, Encoding, Middleware, Test & Measurement, and two Service Provider Innovation areas. The TelcoTV Vision Awards recognize the most innovative and “visionary” new products, services, and applications announced in the communications industry in the past year. The finalists were determined by a distinguished panel of industry executives and analysts: Joe Braue, SVP, Light Reading; Steve Fravel, Video Services Manager, NTCA; Adi Kishore, Senior Analyst, Heavy Reading; David Lowe, Manager of Business and Technology, NTCA; and Carol Wilson, Chief Editor of Events, Light Reading.

A joint production of Techweb and NTCA, TelcoTV offers a unique venue for solution providers to showcase their new product and service offerings. The event takes place November 9 through 11, 2010 in Las Vegas.
