NICE, France -- TM Forum Live! -- The south coast of France is beautiful to behold in June, but despite what our first set of pics suggested, the Light Reading entourage wasn't in Nice to get a tan. (See TMF Live! Pics: Have a Nice Day.)
Click on the image below to see some of the sights from inside the annual service provider IT (SPIT)-fest that is the TM Forum Live! event. (OK, there are a few more snaps of Nice too...)

Re: #latergram @mendyK I've found that to be true at the conferences and expos I've attended (a bit less so in the heyday of the dotcom days). It also holds at Bitcoin conferences, where I'd guess about 2/3 were male. It is possible to lie with pictures without Photoshop though, all you have to do is capture an atypical group -- like a 4 or so with at least 2 women present -- to make it look like there were as many women as men there.
A CSP's digital transformation involves so much more than technology. Crucial – and often most challenging – is the cultural transformation that goes along with it. As Sigma's Chief Technology Officer, Catherine Michel has extensive experience with technology as she leads the company's entire product portfolio and strategy. But she's also no stranger to merging technology and culture, having taken a company — Tribold — from inception to acquisition (by Sigma in 2013), and she continues to advise service providers on how to drive their own transformations. This impressive female leader and vocal advocate for other women in the industry will join Women in Comms for a live radio show to discuss all things digital transformation, including the cultural transformation that goes along with it.
