ORLANDO -- At Management Word Americas, Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systems and services, today introduced the Amdocs Product Lifecycle Management solution. The new solution centralizes and automates a service provider’s internal workflow processes, from product ideation to launch, considerably reducing time to market. The solution is already being rolled out by two service providers, one in Southeast Asia and the other in South America.

“When launching a new product, multiple internal stakeholders are called to action, from marketing, finance and legal to IT and network organizations, challenging service providers’ ability to launch products quickly,” said Ari Banerjee, senior analyst at Heavy Reading. “The Amdocs Product Lifecycle Management solution is the first to offer pre-integrated business processes best practices to govern this complex flow of information, helping to speed service innovation and minimize time and resources spent on less optimal ideas by stopping them earlier on.”

“Service providers today compete with agile over-the-top players and mobile virtual network operators,” said Rebecca Prudhomme. “The new Amdocs Product Lifecycle Management solution leverages Amdocs’ 30-years of experience in supporting service provider operations to introduce an effective solution that can help providers improve time to market, reduce operational costs, and better compete.”

A CSP's digital transformation involves so much more than technology. Crucial – and often most challenging – is the cultural transformation that goes along with it. As Sigma's Chief Technology Officer, Catherine Michel has extensive experience with technology as she leads the company's entire product portfolio and strategy. But she's also no stranger to merging technology and culture, having taken a company — Tribold — from inception to acquisition (by Sigma in 2013), and she continues to advise service providers on how to drive their own transformations. This impressive female leader and vocal advocate for other women in the industry will join Women in Comms for a live radio show to discuss all things digital transformation, including the cultural transformation that goes along with it.
