Appoints Andy Geisse advisor to board of directors.

LOWELL, Mass. -- NetNumber, a leading provider of centralized signaling and routing controller (CSRC) solutions, announced today it has appointed Andy Geisse as an advisor to its board of directors. Mr. Geisse recently retired from his role as chief executive officer of AT&T Business Solutions.

“Andy’s background and experience are going to be invaluable to the Board,” said Joe Farrelly, NetNumber chairman of the board. “His expertise in the telecom market will help shape our recommendations to the NetNumber executive team with regards to customer, market and technology strategies. He well understands the business and technology challenges facing carriers today, and can help us articulate the company’s value proposition to resonate with NetNumber customers and partners. We look forward to working with Andy, and welcome him as an advisor.”

Mr. Geisse has held a number of senior executive positions during his 35-year career at AT&T, in the company’s wireline and wireless organizations and both in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to his position as CEO of AT&T Business Solutions, he served as executive vice president of the company’s Global Customer Service. From 2004-2007, Mr. Geisse served as the company’s chief information officer. He has also led AT&T’s software development as senior vice president of Enterprise Software Solutions.

His experience includes several leadership positions in the wireless industry, including serving as CEO of VTR Cellular and chairman and CEO of STARTEL. Both companies were Chilean wireless providers partially owned by AT&T at the time.

Mr. Geisse earned bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Mathematics from The University of Missouri, and an Executive Management degree from Carnegie Mellon. He also holds a master of business administration degree from Washington University.
