November 27, 2012 |

BELMONT, Calif. -- Vyatta, a Brocade Company, and the leader in software-based networking for virtual and cloud environments, today announced the availability of its software-based networking and security solution, Vyatta Network OS, on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace.

For more than a year, Vyatta Network OS delivered as an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) has enabled customers to build secure multi-tier, multi-location architectures that adapt to dynamic business needs. The availability of Vyatta solutions in the AWS Marketplace not only provides advanced routing and security for enterprise cloud infrastructures, but also simplifies the development and provisioning of hybrid cloud environments.

"We are excited to add Vyatta's advanced networking functionality to AWS Marketplace," said Terry Hanold, vice president of New Business Initiatives at AWS. "Networking for virtual and cloud environments provides value to our customers and Vyatta's offering is a welcome addition."
