SDN Draws a Big Crowd

Heavy Reading's Jan. 14 research preview webinar proved conclusively what most people in the telecom industry are coming to accept: Software-defined networking (SDN) is THE network technology hot button in 2013.

Even though we sent out only one round of invitations (and this during the dreaded first-week-of-January-hangover period), more than 900 telecom professionals registered for the webinar, and nearly 400 attended the live presentation. Those who clicked in stayed pretty much for the entire program, according to the post-show metrics provided by our crack webinar production team.

Attendees seemed more than happy with the quality of our presentation. More than 90 percent of those who took our post-webinar survey said the program met or exceeded their expectations. Even Tom Brady (or Marcia Brady, for that matter) would be hard pressed to match that kind of approval rating.

If you missed our SDN extravaganza, that's too bad for you. You'll never know what our team of top telecom experts said about SDN and how it will transform telecom networks over the balance of this decade. You are now doomed to stumble through the virtual darkness while your more attentive colleagues and competitors have their Heavy Reading-supplied SDN flashlight to find their way.
