A Dutch court has ruled that Apple Inc. has infringed one of Samsung Corp.'s patents and must pay an unspecified amount in damages to the South Korean electronics giant, reports the BBC. The patent in question relates to the way the pair's respective phones and tablets connect to the Internet. The damages sum will be based on sales of Apple's iPhone and iPad in the Netherlands. Just six months after it was introduced, the Croatian government is proposing to scrap its 6 percent tax on mobile phone services, reports Reuters. Croatia fears that the tax won't help its efforts to become a member of the European Union.
