Suddenlink Introduces 'ConnectedHome'
ST. LOUIS -- Suddenlink is taking home security a step further with the announcement today of an all new home automation service that, in addition to 24/7 security monitoring, offers remote control of various home functions.
Connected HomeSM offers the features of Suddenlink’s existing home security service, but also allows users to remotely arm and disarm their security system; control lights, thermostats and door locks; get text and email notices about events at home; and get streaming video and pictures inside and outside of the home while away.
Connected Home includes 24/7 professional monitoring that is CSAA Five Diamond Certified and UL Listed. Customers get an easy app to allow them to control their homes remotely from a desktop, smart phone or other connected device. Customers can control their home as well as get updates from their home via personal text and email message notifications about events.
With Connected Home, customers can choose a wide variety of monitoring devices from carbon monoxide, smoke/heat and flood detectors, as well as image sensors, indoor and outdoor cameras, plug-in dimmer and lamp modules, garage door sensors, glass break sensors and panic buttons.
