GOLDEN, Colo. -- New Global Telecom (NGT), the nation's leading provider of wholesale hosted VoIP solutions, has announced Mike Donnell as President and CEO. Donnell joins NGT with more than 20 years of senior level experience in the telecommunications industry where he achieved market leadership positions for cellular and paging service providers.

"Mike's proven track record of success and extensive experience developing channels and stimulating growth will be key to NGT's continued leadership position in the VoIP market," said Dan Caruso, a member of NGT's board of directors. "We are delighted to have him on board."

With this change, NGT is poised for continued growth with a strong investor syndicate and with new leadership, including the two executive management positions filled earlier this year: Bob Decker, SVP-Operations & Technology and John Guillaume, SVP-Sales & Marketing. Rich Grange, NGT's co-founder and a leader of NGT's strategic direction for the past ten years, will transition out of the day-to-day activities.

"We remain committed to a carefully crafted strategy to sell, deploy and maintain our services through channels to the SMB market," said Mike Donnell, NGT's new president and CEO. "Recent initiatives, including the Network Performance Platform and S.M.A.R.T. VoIP Series, highlight NGT's thought-leadership in this space."
