SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Ensim Corporation, the leading provider of change management, user provisioning and access control software, together with BroadSoft, today announced a collaborative demonstration of a new unified communications (UC) solution based on Ensim Unify, the leading provisioning platform for automating the creation, activation and configuration of hosted IP, SaaS and application services. The new solution, which has been successfully deployed by Outsourcery Limited (formerly Genesis Communications Limited), a U.K.-based provider of UC and hosted IT solutions, will be demonstrated at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2009 in New Orleans.

Based on Ensim's latest release of Ensim Unify Service Provider Edition, 4.7.0, the production-ready system features support for BroadSoft's BroadWorks VoIP application platform, the Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration (HMC) 4.5, Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 to provide a robust solution for service providers looking to deliver a complete "Unified Communications Solution as a service" offering to small and medium-sized enterprises.

"Creating a comprehensive hosted UC solution presents a unique set of challenges due to the complexity of integrating multiple applications from multiple vendors in a unified and turnkey manner," said David J. Wippich, president and CEO of Ensim Corporation. "Ensim Unify enables service providers to quickly, easily and inexpensively launch and manage a hosted UC offering that combines state-of-the-art, self-management capabilities with unrivaled flexibility."

A CSP's digital transformation involves so much more than technology. Crucial – and often most challenging – is the cultural transformation that goes along with it. As Sigma's Chief Technology Officer, Catherine Michel has extensive experience with technology as she leads the company's entire product portfolio and strategy. But she's also no stranger to merging technology and culture, having taken a company — Tribold — from inception to acquisition (by Sigma in 2013), and she continues to advise service providers on how to drive their own transformations. This impressive female leader and vocal advocate for other women in the industry will join Women in Comms for a live radio show to discuss all things digital transformation, including the cultural transformation that goes along with it.
