ÖRNSKÖLDSVIK, Sweden -- Clavister (Nasdaq: CLAV), a leader in high-performance network security, has received a renewed order from one of South East Asia’s largest telecommunications providers, signing an agreement to secure business critical infrastructure used by its millions of subscribers.

As part of the order, Clavister will deploy its high-end products to secure a wide range of applications, including the central DNS servers, Voice-over-IP, Video on Demand services and more. The new deal is worth $75,000 USD bringing the total value of the agreement between the companies to $150,000 USD to Clavister, with potential for further orders and value growth.

The deployment will standardize the infrastructure on Clavister high-end appliances following the delivery of the first products that have already been successfully provisioned on the live network. The successful migration to Clavister’s high-end appliances will provide a solid platform for further growing the business quickly and efficiently. The Clavister solution will help to prevent large scale cyber-attacks on the network such as the denial-of-service attack against Swedish internet service provider Telia in December 2014, severely affecting hundreds of thousands of customers over a period of several days.
