SCTE Sets Cable-Tec Expo Paper Deadline

EXTON, Pa. -- The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) today announced that it is seeking proposals for papers and presentations for technical sessions to be conducted at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo® 2013.

The SCTE Cable-Tec Expo® 2013 Program Committee is seeking abstracts addressing the evolution of cable networks, services and business processes for the Monday through Thursday, Oct. 21-24 event in Atlanta. The Committee is particularly interested in abstracts relating to the integration and convergence of technologies, services and the view of the customer. It is desired that all sessions be interactive and include case studies whenever possible.

The deadline for abstract submissions is Friday, April 12, 2013. Abstracts will be reviewed by the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo® 2013 Program Committee, chaired by Kevin Hart, executive vice president and CTO of Cox Communications.
