ROADM Woes

2:20 -- The research analysts at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. say Oplink Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: OPLK)'s recent quarter was dragged down by the addition of Optical Communication Products Inc. (OCP) (Nasdaq: OCPI):

Oplink reported tough F3Q08 results. The OCP acquisition is proving hard to integrate, the company is losing share in ROADMs, and the core passives business is being negatively impacted by soft demand...

OCP declined ~20% sequentially as products need to be re-qualified. ROADMs declined ~25% due to share loss at Tellabs.

Ouch.
